Course Overview

Fresh Start Education delivers the QBCC Open Site Supervisor Licence Technical Requirements, enabling you to:

  • Oversee plan and manage all building work
  • Ensure Quality and standard of work is achieved
  • Liaise directly with the client/Project Management Team
Entry Requirements

Students must be 18 years or older and will be required to demonstrate the required level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills.

In addition, the completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry covers this requirement.

Entrants to this program will undergo a Pre-qualification Interview to determine suitability and assess current knowledge and experience, to ensure that this is the right qualification relative to your career progression.

 

Course Structure

Fresh Start Education deliver relevant industry training and assessment that provides you with the skills, knowledge and experience to achieve this QBCC Accredited Building & Construction qualification. Our course content has been purposefully developed to be future-focused, complete with current industry topics that are practical and relevant to your trade.

To achieve this qualification, you must demonstrate competency in 10 units of competency taken from the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction.  Whilst there is no formal pre-requisite required, a minimum of 3 years in the building and construction industry is recommended in Type C construction.

Delivery Method

Upon finalisation of the RPL Assessment, students’ will be provided with access to our online portal allowing you to complete any units of competency required at your own pace. Once completed, you will receive a Statement of Attainment allowing you to apply for your QBCC Open Site Supervisor Licence.  The team at Fresh Start Education can guide you through the application process, should this be required.

Students may need regular access to a laptop or desktop computer with the following:
  • An adequate and reliable internet connection
  • At least the equivalent of Microsoft Office, with word-processing capabilities and spreadsheets
  • A PDF Reader installed
